Step1:SetupYumRepository

Firstlyweneedtoconfigureyumrepositoryinoursystem.Createanewrepofile/etc/yum.repos.d/wandisco-svn.repoandaddfollowingcontentasperyouroperatingsystemversion.

ForCentOS/RHEL6Users:

[WandiscoSVN]
name=Wandisco SVN Repo
baseurl=http://opensource.wandisco.com/centos/6/svn-1.8/RPMS/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0

ForCentOS/RHEL5Users:

[WandiscoSVN]
name=Wandisco SVN Repo
baseurl=http://opensource.wandisco.com/centos/5/svn-1.8/RPMS/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0

Step2:InstallSubversionPackage

Afteraddingaboverepository,installSubversionpackageusingyumcommandlinepackagemanagerutility.

# yum clean all
# yum install subversion

Incaseyoufaceanyissueswithexistinginstalledsubversion,removethatandtryagainwithabovecommands.

Step3:VerifySubversionVersion

AtthisstageyouhavesuccessfullyinstallSubversionclientonyoursystem.Letsusefollowingcommandtoverifyversionofsvnclient.

# svn --version

svn,version1.8.9(r1591380)

compiledMay12014,14:46:40oni686-pc-linux-gnu
